Vet/Illness
All animals will be cared for and treated as if they are our own. We do however advise that all pets staying/cared for by us do so at their owners own risk and we CANNOT be held responsible for any loss or injury to pets whilst in our care.
Pets should be fit & healthy on arrival day. We reserve the right to refuse boarding if we believe them to be ill.
Please provide us with a UK contact number that we can call for instruction should your pet/s become unwell. Whilst in our care if we feel it necessary to take any animal to the vet then we will do so AT YOUR EXPENSE. If you do not wish us to do this we will endeavour to keep your pet comfortable until your return, however we will not see any animal suffer and will contact you to ask permission if we feel your pet needs to be put to sleep. If we cannot make contact then we will follow the advice of the vet.
If we need to take your pet to the vet (of for larger animals have the vet visit them), the cost of the treatment must be paid in advance of treatment by you to the vet. There will be a charge of £10 per visit for taking your pet to the vet to cover fuel and time.
Should your pet require a vet during their stay we will use our local vets, Endrick Ltd, Oakwood Garden Centre, Killearn, Stirlingshire, G63 9PT, 01360 606006, endrickvets@hotmail.com.
ALL RABBITS MUST HAVE UP TO DATE NOBIVAC COMBINED VACCINE AND FILAVAC RRHD2 VACCINE.
BOARDING FEES
Boarding fees must be paid in full in advance of arrival by bank transfer or in cash when your pet/s arrive.
If collection of your pet/s is delayed for reasons beyond your control, please contact us to let us know. We will try to accommodate your pet/s however we may have a new
booking due. We charge an
additional £5 per animal per night on top of our normal rate.
All
outstanding monies must be settled before collection of your pets.
If for
any
reason the agreed outstanding bill for additional boarding is not settled or your pets collected within 48 hours of your agreed collection time (without prior agreement) then they will automatically become the property of Hilltops Boarding & surrendered to a rescue charity.
A non refundable deposit is required at time of booking (per accommodation booked) to secure your accommodation. All appropriate booking form/s for your pet/s, and images
of the up to date immunisations for rabbits also need to be sent through to confirm your booking.
Boarding fees up to £40 require a deposit of £10, over £40 deposits required are 25% of the total boarding fee. Please do not pay your deposit until we have confirmed availability for your booking.
Booking dates must be discussed by email, text, messenger or telephone to confirm availability. Completion of a booking form without contacting us first does not confirmation or guarantee availability.
Arrival & departure are strictly by prearranged appointment only. Appointments are available 7 days a week between 9.30am-10.30am.
Hilltops Boarding does not accept liability for personal injury, and individuals are advised to ensure their own safety whilst on our premises.
Booking of all animals into boarding is with agreement to the above policy. We require that our booking form is completed prior to your pets holiday commencing and relevant up to date immunisation documentation provided for rabbits.
